Zircon, the most ancient mineral on earth, has been beloved due to its protective powers and its ability to attract riches and wisdom. Known as the "stone of virtue," zircon is believed to realign ethics and morals to universal truths.

Zircon comes in exquisite colors and has been used in jewels across eras. Though the stone comes in a rainbow of colors, blue zircon is most common and most prized, especially that beloved icy blue hue. Zircon should not be confused with cubic zirconia, with which it has nothing in common. A noted Tiffany's gemologist once suggested that zircon be called "starlite" as an homage to its sparkling splendor. The name, unfortunately, never caught on but we think it's a far more accurate honorific for such a stellar stone.
