You hear often enough that 7 (like the number of nails in this sweet little horse shoe) is a lucky number.

Well, we at The One I Love don't like being told silly things without a viable explanation (call us hard headed) so we decided to do a little look see as to why for centuries we have been so in love with this mysterious number! And boy did we find some fun stuff...

Some are pretty obvious;  7 days of the week, 7 colors of the rainbow, Snow White and the 7 Dwarves (duh). But did you also realize that there are 7 continents, 7 seas and 7 wonders of the world? In Japanese lore there are 7 Good Fortune Deities and in nature nearly all mammals have a 7 cervical vertebrae. 7 is such a powerfully attractive number that even Shakespeare wrote about the 7 Ages of Man.

If that's not enough coincidence to call 7 lucky, than we don't know WHAT is!
