During the Victorian and Art Nouveau Period sparkling and unique jewelry pieces became widely demanded by the masses, so jewelers decided to up their sparkle game with the “doublet” method. The“doublet method”, gives depth and brilliance of stones by placing two halves of a similar stone together. In this case, the “doublet method” created a way to pair beautiful pieces of Emerald together to create this number one stunner centerpiece trilogy. Oh, and as to the pieces of Emerald, there’s a legend for that and it goes like this:

Before there were Emeralds, the King of India was told about a beautiful green vase deep in the depths of the sea. The King was so intrigued by this mysterious vase that he sent his four most powerful spirits to fetch it from the King of Sea. The spirits retrieved the vase easily enough, but, as naughty spirits sometimes do, they got to fightin’ over it, and eventually one of them dropped it against a mountain (big face palm). The vase shattered into a million pieces (definitely the biggest vase ever in the history of vases) and all the Emeralds found in the world today are said to be fragments of this beautiful underwater treasure. So, while it’d take literally eternity to try and piece that vase back together, luckily for us we have the “doublet” method that gives a glimpse of the beauty and brilliance of this legendary vase.

This stunning Art Deco Emerald Doublet and Diamond Ring incorporates the signature geometric design infamous during the 1920’s and 30’s with the masterfully crafted doublet Emeralds accented by sparkling Diamonds to create a stacked gem that is certain to double your bling and your reputation for legendary good taste.
