Sometimes, there is truly nothing better than simplicity. But just because something is “simple” doesn’t mean it can’t be absolutely stunning. Case in point- our Georgian mine cut circle pendants.

The circle has been a powerful symbol basically since the appearance of humans. In ancient Egypt, the shen, which was a loop of rope, was commonly used in hieroglyphics to represent infinite protection. Some tribes of Native Americans used the circle as the basis for their most used and glorified symbols; the ones for the elements of air, water, fire, and earth.  The obvious associations with the moon, the sun, earth, even people’s eyes show the power of such a simple symbol. Circles have no beginning, nor end, and embody eternity. The unbrokenness of them remind us of wholeness and totality. Circles are beautiful. And it certainly doesn’t hurt when that circle is created by sparkly antique mine cut diamonds.
