* This Ring Can Be Resized.

A Georgian ring that makes our heart beat just a little bit faster. This remarkable ring was made from a 18th century brooch and features some of the brightest old cut white diamonds we have seen. Chunky mine cut diamonds sparkle in their silver setting, with a sprinkling of rose cuts here and there. Most impressively is the bright step cut emerald that pulls the boldest shade of green evoking pure joy. We fashioned it to a Victorian inspired yellow gold shank, with subtle yet beautiful texture. We love the combination of white diamonds and vivid emeralds, along shiny silver and warm gold.

A few decades after this wondrous piece of jewelry was made, Emily Bronte poetically authored, “Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the autumn tree”. We find it no coincidence that literature and art often focused heavily on the natural world. Jewelry during the Georgian Era was no different. Natural elements were abundant when it came to fine jewelry which was strictly worn by the wealthy and upper class. Feathers, insects, flowers, and foliage were created out of scrolling metals and precious stones. All Georgian jewelry was made by hand, so often there is a lack of perfect symmetry creating truly one of a kind, fascinating pieces like the face of this ring. A unique adornment that has been loved in one form or another for 200 years.
